Privacy Policy

Don’t Panic! collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers receiving your data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

• No name, email, phone, or account credentials.
• No location data (we never request location permission).
• No contacts, photos, calendar, or other device data.
• No advertising or marketing identifiers.
• No analytics, telemetry, or crash reports.
• No cookies; no third-party tracking SDKs.

Some choices are stored locally so the app remembers them next time. This never leaves your device:

• Loadout statewhich items you’ve marked as packed.
• Display preferencestheme (phosphor / khaki), units (metric / imperial), and reduce-FX toggle.
• Read statewhich Field Manual articles you’ve opened.

Storage uses the OS’s standard local mechanisms (IndexedDB and localStorage). Clear it by deleting the app or clearing app data in device settings.

Does not communicate with any third-party servers at runtime. Fully self-contained: all guidance (Field Manual, Loadout, Protocols) ships inside the app and is read locally. Reference materials cited (Ready.gov, FEMA, CDC, American Red Cross) are paraphrased/quoted at build time with attribution; not linked at runtime.

General preparedness reference, not directed at children under 13. Because no personal data is collected, complies with COPPA by design.

If the policy changes in a future app version, the updated policy ships inside that version of the app.
